I have been alarmed by the rise in anti-democratic beliefs in the United States including various types of authoritarianism. President Trump again refused to commit to a peaceful transition of power if he lost the election to VP Joe Biden in the debate last night. I think this is one of many very disturbing parts of the debate. Time described The Biggest Moments From the First Presidential Debate and this was one of them.

I questioned whether this refusal to commit to a peaceful transfer of power if he lost the election was Impeachable here yesterday but President Trump seems to be sticking to his threat.
