I have been forwarded quite a few videos by friends warning me about how bad the candidate I support is. Be careful since you may see something that never happened and form your opinion of the candidate based on a falsehood pretending to be a fact. In my experience most come from Republicans and are about a Democrat. I’ll not say it never happens the other way around, just that I’ve never seen it.

NPR has a good story on these deepfake videos. They have been around for a few years but are getting better.
