Jack's General Irish Links

These are links regarding Irish genealogy, history, and so forth that I've found helpful or interesting. Nearly all of these are external links and will open a new window or tab with most browsers. But if you'll be leaving this site, bookmark it before you go! Regarding any commercial services, let me add that this is not an endorsement. The listings just to let you know what is available.

You might also try a search of the internet. A search with your surname of interest might turn up something interesting. Be creative with your searching a try pairing the name with places or terms such as genealogy, family, or history. If you do not have any search engines as bookmarks or favorites, you might want to check out my site outline (see below).

Ancestry

I took a trial membership and just loved being able to search census, birth, death records and more from home. So I stayed on. I found a lot on my families. It was pretty simple to quit. I waited a year or so, joined for another trial, found more stuff and a second cousin, and quit again. So if you think you might find this useful, try it.
