Election madness continues, even in Pennsylvania

For some,  the election madness continues. Many Republicans believe (or at least say they believe) that Donald trumps won the 20202 election and it was stolen by the Democrats. They have not been able to produce any credible evidence. Of course they have various conspiracy theories but no evidence any is correct.

There are votes from in from China or rigged voting machine or any number of other wacko theories. One of these even invoked the dead former Venezuelan president.

2020 election nonsense continues

I’ve not written much about the 2020 election in a while. At least not directly. I have written some about the consequences such as the January 6 insurrection and possible coup attempt. But I thought the bogus claims of election fraud would be over by now The claims have been the subject of many lawsuits but evidence has never been found. But the claims still live on in the minds of many Republicans.

Election integrity or voter suppression

Is it election integrity or voter suppression? That is the question about President Trump’s Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity.

Over the past few years Republicans have championed stricter voting requirements which they claim are needed for election integrity. But Democrats claim these requirements are a form of voter suppression since they disenfranchise large numbers of voters, most of whom are members of groups more likely to vote for the Democrat.

Widespread voter fraud: a confession

I wish to confess.  I may have inadvertently contributed to the widespread voter fraud that may have caused Donald Trump to lose the popular vote in our last election.  On the other hand, widespread voter fraud may have contributed to his win.

We may never know if someone impersonated me in another state.   We probably don’t know how he or she voted, although President Trump seems 100%  sure they voted against him.

President Trump plans to launch an investigation into this massive voter fraud.
