Why fire FBI Director Comey now (Russian investigation)

Why fire FBI Director Comey now? Is this another Trump administration attempt to misdirect, mislead and cause such confusion that all probes into the Russian interference in the 2016 elections and possible collusion by the Trump administration and campaign are delayed and hindered.

The irony of the latest development. FBI Director James Comey Is fired by President Trump and the reason given is his mishandling of the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails. This mishandling and surprise announcement in late October may have doomed her presidential candidacy and handed the election to Donald Trump.

Director Comey announced about 6 weeks ago that the FBI is investigating whether members of President Trump’s campaign colluded with Russia to influence the 2016 election.

Yesterday Sally Yates, the former Acting Attorney General, testified about notifying the White house about their National Security Advisor’s Russian connections. Why is she a former Acting Attorney General? She was fired days after informing the Trump White House of the evidence of a Russian connection. The White House says they fired her for not defending the Muslim Ban which has been found to be unconstitutional.

Why fire FBI Director Comey now?

Director Comey is fired today and the reason given is something that happened months ago. The timing is a bit suspicious. Is there a connection with the Sally Yates testimony and the FBI investigation into Russian influence and trump campaign collusion? Was he getting too close?

Or is this all part of the misdirection? Or are the reasons given for the firings a misdirection.

Are we ready for that independent investigation that President Trump does not seem to want?
