Nine Years Gone by Chris Culver

I was pleased when I saw a new book by Chris Culver on NetGalley. I had previously reviewed a book of his and liked it very much.

I applied for a review copy on my Kindle and was soon engrossed in Nine Years Gone. I was again impressed by Chris Culver’s skill in pulling me into the story. I was amazed by this ability when I read my first Chris Culver book. This time I was more or less expecting this level of skill and was not disappointed.

The book is Nine Years Gone. I think I liked the first one I read a bit better but this one was definitely good too. The story starts with the main character observing an execution.

In this fast-paced thriller, you quickly learn why he is there but not the whole story. The whole story does come out in the plot but why spoil the fun.

He is a witness as the state puts to death a man he framed 9 years ago. That had consequences he had not anticipated. I’ll not say much more as I could spoil one of the many twists and turns in this thrilling plot.

If you really want to know more about the plot, there are several reviews of Nine Years Gone online, including several on the Amazon site (link in the picture).

Chis Culver tells this story well. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
