Q-23: A Novel of Espionage and Racqueteering, a quick read

I downloaded Q-23: A Novel of Espionage and Racqueteering by Paul R. Theroux from NetGalley and I found it a quick read and enjoyable.

First, the author should not be confused with his cousin Paul Theroux the well-known writer. This seems to be a first fictional book by Paul R. Theroux.

It was quick read with an interesting plot. I must confess I thought it would be better, based summary by the publisher and the chosen blurbs. But is was not bad, just less developed than I expected.

I read it on my Kindle in a couple evenings. I guess a faster reader could do it in one sitting. The book is shorter than you would expect for a novel – Amazon gives the print length as 112 pages. And the characters much less developed that you would expect in a novel. But given those limitations, I thought it was pretty good.
